Established in 1968 for the production of vacuum pumps, from which it takes its name, VP soon increased its range of equipment becoming one of the leading companies designing and selling vacuum packaging and shrink wrapping machines.
Shrink wrapping machines are used for the primary and secondary packing of many types of product. Whilst vacuum packaging is mainly used within the food industry to improve shelf life and using pouches and trays with modified atmosphere.
Over the years the range of vacuum packaging machines has increased significantly with the addition of skinfood technology first and the innovative patented process for hinged lidded trays later.
