Corazza is an engineering and mechanical company based in Bologna in the very heart of the so called “Packaging Valley”.
The company was founded in 1954 by Natalino Corazza, a mechanical engineer who entered the packaging business by developing the FD220, an essential and sturdy machine for dosing and wrapping stock cubes.
Following the immediate success of this model, Corazza expanded its business with a complete range of equipment to meet the capacity requirements of the clients.
This led to conquer a leading world wide market share in the present core business: dosing and wrapping stock cubes, processed cheese, butter portions.
Throughout the years Corazza has installed more than 3000 machines in 75 Countries.
Keeping the leadership in the market means investing resources in the research and development by a strong and skilled team of designers that get on well together and work in full autonomy with the necessary creativity to test and develop new technological solutions.
The Technical and the R&D Departments are in strong touch both with the Manufactoring and the Prototype Development Departments.
The full productive cycle is coordinated and completed inside the Company until the fianl testing of each piece of equipment
Corazza is particulary careful in choosing its suppliers, considering the high competence that is required to always assure the highest quality materials and processing
