The firm was founded by ISIDORO CAODURO in 1951 as a family business changing name to FX di CAODURO in 1964 and again in 1980 to become the present CAODURO® SPA. The establishment covers an area of about 26000 square meters with a covered space of 13200 sq.m of which 1600 reserved to office and 2400 to warehousing. The starting up of the last building of 3000 sq.m at the beginning of 1992 makes it possible to rationalize a wider productivity in the field of tunnels. Now we are able to comply with all requirements of modern architecture.
The company is specialized in the production of thermoformed and curb-mounted coverings, made of PMMA (methacrylate) or PC (polycarbonate) such as domes, skylights and tunnels for industrial buildings and private dwellings.
The manufacturing department works side by side with the Technical and Quality Testing Dept. New high-quality computerized equipements allow us not only to survey directly tensions and deformations induced on materials by concentrated and distributed loads, but also to put forward a theoretic estimation.
Thanks to in-depth studies based on mathematic principles, the behaviour of thermoformed materials can be surveyed into details in order to restrict dangerous concentrations of residual tensions and get a homogeneously thick manufacture.
