Every two years, U.S. Food & Beverage manufacturers eagerly anticipate the Anuga countdown to display their latest products to the international media and buyers from all over the world. Anuga is the key event for the international food & beverage industry and will take place from October 10-14, 2015 in Cologne, Germany.

Over 165 U.S. companies will participate in seven USA Pavilions located in Fine Food (hall 10.2), Meat & Poultry (hall 9), Bread, Bakery and Hot Beverages (hall 2.2), Dairy (hall 10.1), Drinks (hall 8), Frozen Food (hall 4.2) and Organic (hall 5.1). Almost a third of the U.S. companies at Anuga will be first time exhibitors. In total, the seven USA Pavilions will occupy almost 33,000 square feet or half the size of a football field.

The U.S. groups are organized by Koelnmesse, Inc., the Chicago-based North American arm of the Anuga Show organizer, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture assisting U.S. companies to reach international export markets. The USA Pavilion program is endorsed by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Some of the established brands in the Meat & Poultry Pavilion will be renowned brands such as Tyson, Smithfield, Perdue and AJC who will use Anuga to meet with their extensive international distribution networks.

The U.S. Fine Food Pavilion will feature staple products from manufacturers such as Seneca, Magic Time, Blue Diamond Almonds and many others. The Western and Southern US Agricultural Trade Associations will bring 41 companies showing many agricultural products benefiting from the regions’ sunny and hot climate.

The Frozen Food hall will feature various cheesecake types offered by Eli’s, flatbreads by Kontos and Bagels by Original Bagels that can be baked in “in-store” bakeries.

The fast paced growth in the Organic food industry will be reflected by 16 U.S. companies supported by the Organic Trade Association (OTA), displaying organic products ranging from ingredients to ready-to-serve meals.

A trip to the Drinks Hall will lead to the U.S. companies Ginseng Up offering delicious beverages and Bruce Cost Ginger, a Brooklyn-based maker of unfiltered Ginger Ales.

Other U.S. highlights can be found in the Bread, Bakery and Hot Beverages Hall with Carbon’s new Golden Malted Waffle and the Toosum’s gluten free oatmeal bars. Wisconsin’s cheese will be presented by the Sartori Company in the Dairy hall 10.1.

The “New Product Showcase USA”, located in hall 10.2, booth H-54a and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture will provide an overview of innovations launched during Anuga by U.S. exhibitors. Some of the highlights are the hot and spicy Triple Crown Organic BBQ Sauce by Acme Organics. Cappo will introduce its latest Green tea smoothie mixes with high levels of antioxidants. Sure attention grabbers will be Setton Farm’s Dark Chocolate covered Pistachios and La Panzanella’s Mini Croccantini crackers flavored in black pepper, rosemary, sesame and whole wheat.

Attendees on the lookout for U.S. distribution rights should pick up a copy of the “Anuga 2015 USA Pavilion Directory,” available at all seven Pavilion locations. The directory includes alphabetical and product listings of all USA Pavilion companies as well as product descriptions and contact information. The listing is also available online at http://www.koelnmessenafta.com/exhibitor-information/anuga-pavilion/2015-anuga-directory-preview
