Outstanding prospects for the second edition

  • 2017: clear increase in space and number of exhibitors
  • Holistic range for the Eastern European beverage industry
  • Attractively-priced start-up opportunities for (first-time) exhibitors

BVM15_Nahaufnahme_07Beviale Moscow is the first and only trade fair in Eastern Europe to unite the entire beverage industry. In 2015 it was held for the first time, a genuinely successful event in the market. The second edition will be held from 28 February to 2 March 2017. “We are now already in the full preparation phase again”, reports Project Manager Thimo Holst, expressing his motivation. “Beviale Moscow 2015 opened up the door to the Eastern European market for our customers, we will be building on this in the coming year: the fair will clearly grow and offer an even more differentiated program.”

Interest is great. Already after the first event last year Beviale Moscow was described by some participants as “a must-attend event for the entire Eastern European beverage industry”. And this is what it is about: from suitable raw materials through to perfectly-coordinated technology right up to efficient packaging, effective logistics and even specific marketing ideas – all sectors are represented. “Be it for alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages but also for liquid dairy products, that is quite immaterial. We are covering the entire spectrum”, Holst said.

Diversity of the fair extending beyond the range

This spectrum is not only reflected in the specialist range but also in the support program and the participation of leading associations and institutes. In this connection, once again this year, the Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei in Berlin (VLB, Research and Teaching Institute for Brewing) is on board as a partner and again offering its much-in-demand further training events for management staff from the industry as well as craft brewers/breweries: the VLB seminar for the brewing and beverage industry in Russia along with the MicroBrew Symposium Russia. Also in the pipeline, in cooperation with renowned sector representatives, there are individual pavilions, which are picking up current topics and issues discussed in the sector such as for example in the PET packaging sector or refrigeration/heat treatment in the beverage manufacturing process.

BVM15_14The corresponding support program also has its finger on the pulse of the sector. Themes currently under discussion, challenges facing the market and specific solution concepts for the entire beverage industry will be presented and explained. Here, visitors will also find information and an exchange on the individual beverage segments, for example beer or milk as they will on entire industrial sectors, which play a key role beyond all sectors: packaging, energy efficiency or similar. A pragmatic know-how transfer and the focus on regional special features always form the focal point.

Good start-up opportunities for exhibitors

Companies, who are setting foot on the Eastern European beverage market for the first time, and who, as a result, would like to increase their opportunities on the local market, are being offered optimum conditions to do so by Beviale Moscow: In a complete package for first-time exhibitors, for their first participation companies will receive a 9 m2 stand including stand assembly for a fixed price of around 3,000 Euro. In order to keep the hurdle of trade fair participation as low as possible not only for first-time exhibitors and newcomers, but also for all exhibitors, all participants will benefit to an equal extent from a full advice service covering the entire trade fair participation process and all services involved with it: from travel to the event and hotel bookings through to the selection of the suitable forwarding agent up to stand assembly and stand design – everything from one source.

Successful premiere in 2015

Conference_VLB_1In 2015, over half the 112 exhibitors came from the regional market. But major international sector players also made use of the three days in Moscow to present their solutions to the customers at the event. In this connection, numerous new contacts with the Russian beverage industry were also made. The total of around 2,700 trade visitors travelled to the event from 31 countries, mainly from Russia itself and the neighbouring countries such as Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine. They came from the most diverse segments of the beverage sector: from breweries and malt houses, from the beverage retail trade, catering sector and hotel/restaurant industry, from the wine, refreshing drinks, fruit juices, mineral water and milk sectors as well as from the service sector and research institutes.

International competence and expertise in the beverage sector

NürnbergMesse is demonstrating its expertise in the beverage industry on an international platform. From 8 to 10 November 2016, BrauBeviale will be held again in Nuremberg. This year’s most important equipment show for the beverage industry has long since become the sector’s international regular meeting place. Beviale Moscow complements the portfolio of holistic trade fairs and exhibitions for the Eastern European market in Moscow. In addition, we must also welcome the newest project: the China Craft Beer Conference & Exhibition (CBCE) on 26 and 27 May 2016 in Shanghai. Other projects are in the pipeline.
