In nearly a century, Safta established itself as a major producer of innovative high-performance films for advanced food and non-food consumer products, cosmetic, medical and pharmaceutical applications.
During this time, the company strived to continuously improve and adapt to changes in the market, meeting even the most critical requests, like chemical or mechanical resistance, hot filling and, since the mid Sixties, sterilization. Success, however, brought also increasingly complex challenges pushing Safta to identify diversification options ahead of time to satisfy and better assist new demands and markets. Besides, the company’s combined know-how, expertise, technologies and certified quality processes also aim at creating advanced packaging solutions and eco-friendly products, whilst reducing the environmental impact of its goods and activities.
