New operational premises, an organic production and sales growth strategy and ongoing investment in R&D projects – after the upward trend in 2014, Makro Labelling continues to grow.

To achieve Made in Italy technological excellence by developing ever more innovative and functional products able to satisfy the customers’ needs in the name of close collaboration – this is the basis for the constant growth of Makro Labelling, today more than ever a national and international standard setter in the sector of industrial labellers for the beverage, food, detergent and pharmaceutical markets.

“2015 rests on the foundations of a solid 2014 during which our initiative and ability to respond to the market were rewarded. Turnover grew from €4 million in 2010 to €12 million in 2014. To continue this trend, we are increasing the production speed of our glue and self-adhesive labellers, while at commercial level, we expect to expand our market share throughout Asia and in North America by capitalising on our sales network and strengthening our customer service on the ground. But that is not all. We are also developing our network of international agencies in a number of strongly expanding markets such as Mexico, the Caribbean area and Eastern Europe”, declares Massimo Manzotti, President and Sales Director of Makro Labelling.

All Makro Labelling labellers stand out for their technology and 100% Made in Italy production, maximum production flexibility, modularity and ease of use.

For Makro Labelling, 2014 was a year of technological development (always combining both mechanics and electronics) and new patents: 2014 was the year of the vision control quality control system to verify pack precision and reject faulty containers and the Follower innovative bottle guide system guaranteeing label centring, fast bottle format change and minimal maintenance costs. “In 2015, the keywords for Makro Labelling will once again be innovation, research and development. Our department, headed by Simone Marcantoni, Electronics Designer, together with Marco Bellini, Mechanics Designer and Davide Vezzoli, Mechanical Engineer, is the company’s added value”, continues Massimo Manzotti, President and Sales Director of Makro Labelling – Follower is an optical guide system able to guarantee users reliability and extreme efficiency. In 2015 we will be presenting a further innovation – integration of the optical centring system with video cameras to guarantee ever greater precision and accuracy in guiding the bottle”.

The new Makro Labelling premises at Goito (Mantua), due for completion in the Spring of 2015, also satisfy the company’s growth needs, with a total surface area of about 10,000 m² to include production premises and an 800 m² office wing.

“Makro Labelling is a healthy company which needs to express new gross margins. Our extensive experience and technological skills, combined with the creativity and involvement of all our collaborators, will be key elements to continue along the road of innovation and development”, concludes Massimo Manzotti, President and Sales Director of Makro Labelling.

In 2015, Makro Labelling will continue its strategy of taking part in some of the most important Italian and international sector trade fairs and will be present for the first time at PACK-IMA, the leading exhibition for processing and packaging technologies in Milan from 19 to 23 May.
