The VICO-TR belt is made of flat bars and is sprocket driven. It is characterized by a large free area, ease of cleaning and flexibility in use from –150°C to 550°C. It also guarantees considerable reliability when working because it remains perfectly centred thanks to its sprocket wheel drive. VICO-TR belts are classified according to the pitch of the flat bar bends and of the rods, the diameter of the rods and the size of the flat bars. VICO-TR belts can be supplied with button head welded connecting rods or rods with clinched edges. VICO-TR belts are mainly made of carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steels. For the driving of the VICO-TR belts standard cast iron or carbon steel sprockets are normally used, and are normally available in stock. On request, the sprockets can be made of AISI 304, AISI 316, Nylon, UHMW 1000, etc. The sprockets are supplied with an unmachined axial bore and with the hub sized according to the diameter of the shaft used.
The VICO-REL® belt consists of elements formed by wire links, locked together by electro-welding one or more cross wires, connected by means of connecting rods. It is usually sprocket or wheel driven. Special chains can also be mounted to suit particular applications or specifications. The link pitch may vary according to the size of the product being transported. VICO-REL® is classified according to the pitch of the links and the rods, their diameter and the type of selvage. Welded selvages are normally used for VICO-REL® belts. They can also be supplied with driving chains and guard edges. VICO-REL® belts are mainly made of carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steels.
The VICO-TU belt consists of closely wound alternating right and left-hand wire spirals connected together by straight connecting rods. This is classified according to the pitch and internal spacing of the spiral wire, the diameter of the wire and rod and the type of selvage. VICO-TU can have welded or ladder selvages. It can also be supplied with driving chains and guard edges and rods with special surface finishes. VICO-TU belts are mainly made of carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steels.
The VICO-MB is a ‘balanced’ belt and consists of alternating right and left-hand wire spirals, connected together by pre-crimped connecting rods. This is classified according to the pitch and internal spacing of the spiral wire, the diameter of the wire and rod and the type of selvage. VICO-MB can have welded or ladder selvages or ladder welded selvages. It can also be supplied with driving chains and guard edges and reinforced selvages. VICO-MB belts are mainly made of carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steels.
VICO-Flex belts have chains on edges made of specially shaped links having slot holes for nesting the connecting rods. Such construction allows a remarkable flexibility of the belt in every direction. VICO-Flex belts are usually made with mesh overlay. In some cases, when the product size permits, they may also be produced without mesh overlay. They may be supplied complete with integral guard edges and, if necessary, Nylon or stainless steel sprockets. Degreasing, pickling and passivation can be carried out on request. VICO-Flex belts are normally requested in AISI 304, but they can also be made using other materials.
