TOMATO PROCESSING MACHINES

The company designs and builds tomato processing plants for the production of tomato paste, peeled, diced and chopped tomatoes, passata, tomato juice, ketchup and all kind of sauces.

Tomato processing machines

The line for the production of tomato paste is mainly composed of:

- Receiving area which includes washing and sorting

- Group for concentrating tomatoes in "cold break", which consists of grinding and pre-heating

- Or Group for concentrating tomatoes in "hot break", which consists of a single section of pre-heating

- Refining of the juice: for the separation of the juice from skin and seeds

- Evaporator in order to remove the water from the juice and to produce the tomato paste

- Section of sterilization and aseptic filling

The line for the production of peeled tomatoes is composed of:

- Receiving area which includes washing and sorting

- Mechanical or under vacuum peeling group for the separation of the skin

- Sorting section for peeled tomatoes

The peeled tomatoes are filled in cans by a specific filler which includes a filling head able to fill up the cans with a proper amount tomatoof tomato sauce. The cans are then stapled and sent to the pasteurizer.

The sauce is prepared by a group of machines consisting of a grinder pump, pre-heater, juice refiner, concentrator and a sauce pasteurizer.

Peeled tomatoes can be further processed into cubes by a special dicer and then to be filled in cans. The chopped tomatoes can also be sterilized by a specific sterilizer in order to filled in aseptic bags of 200 liters (55 gallons).

The line for processing tomatoes into a passata is composed of:

- Receiving area which includes washing and sorting

- Group for concentrating tomatoes in "hot break", which consists of grinding and pre-heating

- Juice refining

The juice is then concentrated into an evaporator and transformed into a past, which is then sent to the packaging area consisting of pasteurizer and filling

Ketchup and sauces processing line

The line for the production of ketchup and sauces is composed of a pumping station used for extracting the paste from drums into a special collecting tank.

The rest of ingredients are prepared by:

- Syrup sugar group

- Saline solution preparation group

- Starches preparation

- Vinegar preparation

- Micro ingredients preparation

The tomato paste and all other ingredients are mixed together following the proper recipe and then pre-heated. The final product is then de-aerated, homogenized, pasteurized and finally sent to packaging.

The line for turning the tomatoes into a juice is composed of:

- Receiving area which includes washing and sorting

- Grinding and pre-heating group

- Juice refining

The juice is then sent into an evaporator for a partial concentration. More eventual ingredients in the recipe are prepared by a dedicated group of micro ingredients preparation: the semi-concentrated tomato with the other ingredients are mixed all together in order to obtain the final product. As for ketchup, the final product is then de-aerated, homogenized, pasteurized and finally sent to packaging.
