Established and directed by Angelo Baronchelli, the AB Industrial Group has been operating for over 30 years in the field of COGENERATION plants, BIOCOGENERATION, TRIGENERATION and the promotion of energy from renewable sources.
Today the AB Group counts 12 operating companies and over 350 employees. Being outright Italian market leader has also favoured its growth abroad.

The AB business venture was founded in 1981 by an idea of Angelo Baronchelli, a young specialist in the electronics industry who is still Chairman of the Group.
In 1992, the first products were containerized cogeneration modules for natural gas and biogas. With this development, it reinforced a clear position in the marketplace and developed a turnover. Through the structuring process of the company, it acquired are new production and logistic structures in 2010 , to create the largest industrial center in the world which is dedicated entirely to the cogeneration. AB’s entrepreneurial growth and market positioning are evident by the number of plants produced and installed, as well as the testimonials of customers who are leaders in their sector.

 

Cogeneration proves an ideal choice for the simultaneous production of electricity and thermal energy in many industrial and commercial sectors, particularly those energy-intensive companies that constantly require significant a production of heat and the use of relevant units of electricity. Cogeneration consists, in fact, in the simultaneous production of these two energy carriers, starting from a single source and within a single, integrated system. The cogeneration plants are permitted to obtain energy efficiency results of absolute importance, with the advantage of being able to manage the production of electrical and thermal energy on a continuous, reliable and safe basis. Cogeneration is the preffered choice to achieve within a reasonable time the advantages of reducing the energy bill and containing CO₂ emissions.
