BBM celebrates its 20th anniversary by reaffirming its identity as an independent, flexible, and sustainability-oriented company. From maintenance to remanufacturing, from spare parts to technical consulting, the company has built a comprehensive model that will debut internationally at Drinktec 2025. In this interview, BBM reflects on its journey and shares its goals for the future.

Daniele Milesi – Co-founder of BBM and Head of Service

Twenty years of activity is an important milestone. What does this anniversary mean for BBM?
It’s a milestone that makes us proud. It represents the trust we’ve built with our customers and marks our evolution from a service-focused company to a provider of complete solutions. This anniversary is a chance to reflect and renew our commitment to continuous innovation.

How has BBM evolved over time, and what has driven its growth?
We started in 2005 with a focus on service. Over time, market demand led us to expand into machine remanufacturing and spare parts management. This allowed us to offer a full package—service, regeneration, and machine sales—all under one roof. Our independence from OEMs and ability to handle multi-brand lines have been key. Quick response times and custom solutions have strengthened our market position.

This year marks your first participation at Drinktec. Why did you choose this trade fair and what are your expectations?
Drinktec is undoubtedly the leading international event for our sector. We see it as a strategic opportunity to showcase our business model abroad, present our integrated offer, and open new partnerships with global customers.

What will you showcase at the fair, and what will be the key themes at your stand?
We’ll present the BBM ecosystem: overhauled used machines, compatible spare parts, and technical consulting. Our stand will be designed as an interactive space highlighting our commitment to the circular economy. We’ll demonstrate how remanufacturing can reduce costs and environmental impact while extending equipment lifespan.

Looking ahead, what are the next challenges and priorities for BBM?
One real challenge is finding qualified technicians who are available for field work, including weekends. That’s why we’re investing in technical training—for both staff and clients—to build autonomy and efficiency. We’re also doubling the capacity of our spare parts warehouse to ensure faster delivery and better support for our remanufacturing operations.

Are there other projects in development?
Yes. We are relocating our San Pellegrino Terme office to a new energy-efficient building powered by solar panels and heat pumps. We’re enhancing our digital capabilities with an upgraded e-commerce platform, 3D printing for internal parts production, and software automation. We aim to obtain MOCA certification by 2025 and ISO 9001 by 2026, while maintaining our gender equality certification and inclusion programs. We are also applying ESG criteria in supplier evaluation to strengthen our responsible supply chain management.

What does Drinktec 2025 represent for you?
Drinktec will be the culmination of our strategic journey—innovation, sustainability, and international expansion. We’re ready to present our model to a global audience and further strengthen our international footprint through the value of regenerated, made-in-Italy technology.
