Modern Bakery Moscow 2019: International Trade Fair for Bakery and Confectionery for Russia and the CIS
Modern Bakery Moscow: 25 years together.
On March 12-15, 2019, the International Specialized Exhibition for the Bakery and Confectionery Markets in Russia and the CIS Countries marked its 25th anniversary.
The Fair is one of the most significant and popular business events for the bakery and confectionery industry and the leading exhibition on this subject in Russia and neighboring countries.
The trade fair demonstrated products and technologies of the following sectors: food processing, ingredients and raw materials, packaging, shopfitting, refrigeration technologies, cleaning and hygiene, services.
The exhibition occupied Pavilion Forum and Pavilion 7 (Halls 3, 4, 5, 6) of the Expocentre. 223 exhibitors from 25 countries demonstrated their products. A record number of 16 976 trade visitors from 56 countries attended the show.

The provenance of companies exhibiting at Modern Bakery Moscow is traditionally widespread: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, USA, Turkey, Finland, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Sweden took part in the 2019 exhibition.
Solutions for the bakery and confectionery markets were represented by such domestic- leaders as: Abat, Voskhod, KB-NS, NHL Corporate Group, Russkaya trapeza, Ruskhleb, Lesaffre, SEMZ, tver plant of food equipment, Shebekinsky Machine-Building Plant.
Among the representatives of foreign companies are as famous brands as Backaldrin, Debag, Diosna-Miwe, J4, Kaak Group, König Machinen, Martellato, Revent, Rondo, Tecnopool, Tromp Group, Wachtel, Werner&Pfleiderer and many others.
Modern Bakery Moscow is an effective business platform supported not only by leading Russian enterprises of the industry and professional associations, but also by federal and regional authorities.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Bakers, the Union of Food Ingredients producers, the Union of Ice Cream Producers, the International Industrial Academy, the Research Institute of Bakery Industry, the Research Institute of Confectionery Industry and leading universities of the food industry supported Modern Bakery Moscow 2019.
Master classes devoted to two topics: «Novelties of ingredients and raw materials 2019» and «Modern bakery and pastry 2019», were held by famous foreign and Russian masters during all days of the fair.
The company Revent, the best selling rack oven producer in the world, became the strategic sponsor of Modern Bakery Moscow 2019.

New formats for visitors
This year two useful novelties appeared at the Fair: consulting center «ask expert» and exhibition tours with industry experts.
At the consulting center visitors could ask questions and get answers from industry experts. During the exhibition tours organized for bakeries and confectionery enterprises, as well as for mini bakeries and pastry shops, industry experts answered visitors’ questions, disclosed the secrets of choosing equipment and ingredients and shared their experience in organizing business processes. These novelties are very effective because they make it easier to navigate and plan the day at the Fair.
Fringe program is an integral part of Modern Bakery Moscow
Every year the fringe program, supported by partners of Modern Bakery Moscow, attracts more and more professionals of the bakery and confectionery industry. More than 25 events were organized and held this year.
On the first day of the exhibition on March 12, 2019, after the opening ceremony the Eurasian Forum of baking leaders «Bread and Health of the Planet» organized by MSUM&T after K.G.Razumovsky and supported by the Research Institute of Bakery Industry and the Research Institute of Confectionery Industry.
